Diamond G Night at the
50th State Farm Fair
Thursday, Aug. 7, 1997

Diamond G banners were both inside and outside the Farm Fair grounds at Aloha Stadium.
Fair goers lined up with empty 20 lb. bags of Diamond G to gain free admission to the Farm Fair on Diamond G Night.
Young and old alike, an empty bag of Diamond G was all you needed for free admittance to the Farm Fair.
At the main stage, Diamond G banners graced the entrances and the crowds jammed in.
On stage, Hawaii's favorite riceman, Hari Kojima, warmed up the crowd with Frisbee-like flyers, T-shirts, and bags of Diamond G.
The crowd went wild! Rice broker Harry Wong got a workout helping with the on-stage giveaway.
Folks surged toward the stage as 20 lb. bags of Diamond G were given away to lucky attendees!
Finally, the stage was set for the main event, "Let's make a Diamond G Deal" with contestants names drawn from the evening's entries.
Twenty different players were selected from among the entries. All came to the stage to play.
Players lined up to answer Rice Trivia questions and qualify for the upper level prizes.
One by one, players got their chance to draw a questions, proffer an answer and win -- or lose!
Finally, it was over. There were lots of happy players and lots of winners. A great time was had by all.

And the winners were...
